Hybrid Repair Service™ invests heavily in professional diagnostic and high-voltage battery equipment to provide accurate fault diagnosis and informed repair strategies.

Our diagnostic capabilities include advanced systems such as the Autel MaxiSys Ultra EV for detailed analysis of hybrid and electric vehicle systems, together with Bosch KTS diagnostic equipment and ESI[tronic].

Where the appropriate manufacturer subscriptions and authorisations are maintained, Bosch systems can also provide access to Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA) functions and manufacturer-level diagnostic platforms, including systems such as Toyota GTS+.  This combination of aftermarket and manufacturer-level diagnostic capability allows our technicians to investigate faults beyond basic code reading and to establish a more accurate understanding of the underlying condition of the vehicle and its high-voltage systems.

Replacement Batteries — New, Used & Reconditioned

Hybrid Repair Service™ provides a range of battery replacement options depending on the vehicle, battery condition, availability and customer's requirements.

For suitable Toyota and Lexus, and some other hybrid vehicles, customers can often retain their original battery and have it professionally reconditioned rather than exchanging it for a battery of unknown history or capacity.

Where appropriate, we can arrange on an included in the price basis:

battery collection → battery assessment → professional reconditioning → return and fitting (discharge capacity report included)

Alternatively, new or suitable replacement batteries can be supplied and professionally installed.

Within our principal operating areas, collection, return, delivery and associated fitting costs are incorporated into our quoted pricing where applicable, providing customers with a transparent overall cost rather than a series of unexpected additional charges.

We do not advocate uncertified installation of high-voltage batteries. Professional installation is important for appropriate manufacturer, insurance and safety requirements.

Battery Traceability

We place particular importance on battery traceability and quality control.

Reconditioned batteries, whether customer-owned or supplied on an exchange/replacement basis, can be supported by discharge-capacity reporting.

Where new cell modules are installed, module identification can be recorded using our QR-based traceability system, enabling individual modules to be identified and associated with the relevant battery and customer vehicle.

Customer and vehicle information is securely maintained within password-protected systems using appropriate commercial security measures.

This approach provides a documented history of battery work and supports greater transparency throughout the repair process.

Imported & Specialist Vehicles

Our experience extends beyond UK-market vehicles.

Hybrid Repair Service™ also supports imported vehicles and specialist conversions, including popular models such as the Toyota Alphard and Alphard-based camper conversions.

Imported vehicles can present additional diagnostic and battery-related challenges because of differences in specification, market configuration and available manufacturer information.

Our diagnostic-led approach allows us to investigate these vehicles using appropriate specialist equipment rather than relying solely on generic diagnostic information.

Our History

Hybrid Repair Service™ began operating in 2020, originally as a sole trader under the trading name Hybrid Repair Service.

Using the same core domain and brand identity that we continue to use today, the business established a reputation for cost-effective and dependable hybrid battery services.

In February 2022, the business incorporated as a VAT-registered limited company under the legal name Eutierria LTD, trading as Hybrid Repair Service.

In January 2025, the registered office was moved to Exeter and the company formally changed its legal name to Hybrid Repair Service LTD.

This change brought the company's legal identity into alignment with the established trading brand which has been in continuous commercial use since the company's inception in 2020  , creating a clearer and more consistent identity for customers and trade partners.
