Warranty and Returns Policy
Warranty Coverage
All new high-voltage batteries and electrical components sold by Hybrid Repair Service LTD are supplied with either a manufacturer’s warranty or a Hybrid Repair Service LTD warranty, as applicable.
At the point of sale, customers will be issued with full warranty documentation, including the length of coverage, detailed terms, and conditions. This documentation forms a legally binding agreement between Hybrid Repair Service LTD and the customer.

Warranty coverage is strictly limited to defects in materials or workmanship. It does not extend to:

Unauthorised modification or tampering;

Damage caused by collision, accident, fire, water, or other external factors.

Misuse or abuse;

All parts must be fitted by competent/qualified technician
Returns & Refunds – Electrical Components and High-Voltage Batteries

Opened/fitted high-voltage batteries and electrical components are non-returnable, except where a fault is proven and verified under the warranty terms.

This strict policy exists because once a high-voltage or electrical component has been opened, installed, or used, it can no longer be safely resold as new or guaranteed for integrity to other customers.

Unopened and unused items may be returned if the return is initiated within 14 calendar days of purchase there is then another 14 in which to return the item for a full refund, subject to inspection and approval.

All return requests must be accompanied by the original purchase documentation and, where relevant, the issued warranty certificate.
Legal & Safety Compliance
Hybrid Repair Service LTD operates in full compliance with UK legal, regulatory, and safety standards for the sale, installation, and warranty of high-voltage batteries and electrical components.
All employees are IMI TechSafe-certified, ensuring that every service provided is safe, insurable, and compliant with current legislation.
Warranty Claims
Where a product develops a fault during the warranty period, Hybrid Repair Service LTD will, at its sole discretion:

Repair the faulty component;

Replace it with an equivalent/new unit; or
-
Provide a credit note towards a future purchase (with customer agreement).
All warranty work is performed exclusively by IMI TechSafe-certified technicians, and all workmanship is fully guaranteed.
Record of Performance
To date, Hybrid Repair Service LTD has maintained a zero-return record on all new high-voltage batteries supplied with up to a 3-year warranty. This reflects our commitment to providing only the highest-quality, fully certified products.
HYBRID REPAIR SERVICE WARRANTIES
Our company fits a range of new high voltage batteries including Lexus and Toyota OEM traction batteries and offers top quality and affordable support to drivers who have reached the end of their "new" vehicle hybrid battery warranties by length of time and/or exceeded mileage stipulations.
The genuine Toyota Lexus warranties offer great cover for customers, some restrictions apply to take advantage of the extended warranty scheme, such as hybrid battery health check and 10,000 miles per year mileage cap.
Hybrid Repair Service LTD offers a straight forward 3 year or 60,000 mile (whichever comes first) warranty. Our terms and conditions are also straight forward. Relating to proper battery cooling system maintenance and the requirement OEM or equivalently 12 volt battery.

For NiMH TOYOTA AND LEXUS high voltage batteries customers can choose either a 3 YEAR WARRANTY OR 60,000 MILES whichever comes first - or 1 YEAR UNLIMITED MILAGE warranty - Treated properly these batteries will last 10 years and beyond

3 YEAR OR 90,000 MILES whichever comes first (AFTERMARKET) HONDA NiMH high voltage batteries

2 YEARS OF 60,000 MILES whichever comes first for TOYOTA AND LEXUS lithium high voltage battery upgrades

Reconditioned hybrid batteries carry warranty period of 1-2 years depending on cell modules age or capacity (Minimum warranty period 12 Months )
